Artistic activities provide children with another meaningful way to broaden their horizons and explore their imagination. Our skilled teachers offer guidance and support, engaging students in a variety of fun, enriching, and hands-on experiences.
We offer hundreds of easy-to-follow art and craft ideas with simple step-by-step tutorials that children and parents alike will enjoy. From quick, no-prep crafts that are perfect for the classroom to engaging paper projects that spark creativity, there’s something for everyone to explore and create.
Music Training
Apex International School trains students in a variety of musical instruments so that they learn the power of sound and music in their lives. By promoting music education, we aim to foster an appreciation for music, build self-esteem, teach critical social skills and engender creativity and innovation. Music calms their mind and the student’s experience and touches the boundaries of the world.
If the brain is a muscle, then learning to play an instrument and read music is the ultimate exercise. Two new studies from the Brain and Creativity Institute at USC show that as little as two years of music instruction has multiple benefits. Music training can change both the structure of the brain’s white matter, which carries signals through the brain, and gray matter, which contains most of the brain’s neurons that are active in processing information. Music instruction also boosts engagement of brain networks that are responsible for decision making and the ability to focus attention and inhibit impulses.
Martial Arts
Apex International School offers traditional martial arts training in a professional, friendly environment. Martial arts help children become stronger, faster, more flexible, and balanced—skills that also enhance their performance in other sports. In addition to physical benefits, martial arts improve coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental focus. At the School of Martial Arts, we are committed to providing high-quality instruction that fosters discipline, respect, self-control, and positive social behavior in young learners. Unlike many other physical activities, martial arts combine dynamic movements with mental focus and a philosophy that supports personal growth. Every movement is intentional and in harmony with the mind and body, offering a complete path to physical and mental development.
School radio
Apex Internation School provides School Radio as a fantastic platform for individuals and groups to voice opinions and involves fellow students in discussions, interviews, shows, and radio drama. It is an exciting and engaging medium for students to develop their communication skills, build confidence and discuss the issues that are important to them.
Chess
Chess was introduced in our school because we believe that it directly contributes to academic performance. Chess makes kids smarter, sharper and more active. At Apex International, we ensure that children have an opportunity to develop their higher-order thought processes, not just in the classroom, but also while playing chess.
